CrossFit Kids
Author’s note: I’m am writing this blog from two, fairly biased viewpoints: 1. Husband; 2. Head Coach of WCCF; but that doesn’t change the truth of what I’m saying.

If you haven’t heard or seen, last week Tess ran a “Lil’ Beasts Health and Fitness Camp.” The tireless effort and care and love that she put forth for these kids is incredible. For three hours each morning, she had the kids moving, exercising, laughing, playing. Becoming fitter, happier, healthier kids. She taught them safe, efficient ways to move. She taught them about cooking healthier versions of their favorite meals. Through CrossFit and fun and creative methods, she aimed to set the kids on a healthier path. Granted, this was only one week. But this is the type of dedication and education and HEALTH that our CrossFit Kids get on a weekly basis by coming to WCCF. Sending your kids to us for 45 minutes a few days a week is not just another sport or activity that your kids are participating in. Tess is an educator through and through and she is unbelievably passionate about making her kids fit, healthy, happy, CONFIDENT, and SMART.

Sure, there are other options when looking into CrossFit for your kid (or for yourself). Everyone says that the best part about CrossFit is the Community, and it is. Well, if you are trying to measure the worth and heart and values of a community, look at the value that community places on its children. And, in my opinion, if you look at WCCF and at what my amazing wife has done with our kids, there can be no other choice.

Also, thanks to Caleigh for running the camp with Tess this past week! Very fortunate to have another caring teacher on our team!
